Working with Amy Marzluff was very effective for me.  We engaged Amy after seeing her brochure and spending an hour with her on the phone.  Over the next six weeks or so I can say my life changed quite a bit, all for the better.


For me, I didn’t have a weight problem but I struggled with energy and alertness at work and realized my habits were the source of these issues.  In addition, I struggled with sleeping well at night often waking up with night sweats.

Amy pointed out some tricks that made it easy for me to change my habits that then changed my day to day experience of life.  Over time I reduced the amount of coffee I was drinking just by drinking a lot more water and slowly removed caffeine from my diet.  I did the same with sugar and dairy (I have small amounts now) but with Amy’s assistance and recipes I really didn’t miss these things and still don’t.


Ultimately I ended up losing some weight (about 7 lbs.) ran a successful ½ marathon and am sleeping much better at night.  I specifically am much more alert at work and because of that, more effective and productive.


I think that is the thing that makes working with Amy so effective.  It isn’t about the weight loss or running. It is more about if you had these things (good health, great energy, etc) what would you be able to do or provide in the world that you don’t now.  For me it was getting clear how this would improve my leadership skills -- something that I am passionate about.

I'd come to the realization I was making my daughter fat. I was already feeling down about myself and what I had done to my body but to see my miracle baby now seven years old looking fat like me made me reach out for help. 


After four visits I began to lose weight and have more energy. I was able to accomplish more work in one day that would've taken me a week to do. I began to feel happier and less stressed out. My husband help me stick to the plan because he loves seeing my joy come back.


I was diagnosed at the age of 36 to be in a menopausal state and had been until I began my work with Amy at 43 years old. Midway through my journey I learned from my medical doctor that my POF (premature ovarian failure) diagnosis was reversed and my ovaries are healthy and working. 


Today my daughter husband and I are all physically stronger than we have ever been. I feel powerful because I know I can walk into a grocery store without a list, know what to buy, bring it home, cook it, and have my family enjoy their dinner. 


Best of all I am happy and I have an overall peacefulness that has helped me to lose the fat and gain muscle.

Before working with Amy I had suffered from endless extreme dieting and an obsession with food that hindered

"Energy to Run a Half Marathon"

Shortly before working with Amy I learned that I had to adapt to a gluten-free lifestyle.  Being the educated and independent person that I am, I was quick to do my own research and secretly scoff suggestions that I should work with a health coach.  I'll admit it, I was highly skeptical of "coaches."  I like to think of myself as someone who has her stuff together . . . or at least can research and plan how to get her stuff together!  Oh, how I had it all wrong.

"I took part in Amy's Women’s Clean Eating and Wellness Coaching Group last year, along side my mother, and was amazed! Every month, I could not wait to go. No matter how exhausted I was at the end of my day, I knew I would feel better if I just went to the Group. It changed so many aspects of my life in a positive way:


I learned about foods I had often seen, knew were good for me, but had no clue how to prepare them or work them into my family's food routine. The information and tools given to me from my lessons with Amy were eye opening and life changing.  Amy is such a positive light and having her in my corner was an experience I will never forget.   I now know what works for me and will get me the results that will go hand and hand with the many hours I put in at the gym.  After working with Amy for 2 months I was able to lose 10 lbs, navigate my way around my grocery store in a completely different way, and have a greater appreciation and knowledge for the foods and other items I was putting into my body.  I look forward to trying new foods and creating delicious items with the tools Amy has given me.  I highly recommend this program for anyone who has ever struggled with their eating habits and wanting to gain the truth and knowledge about the foods being put into our bodies.
