As a coach, I put the power back in YOUR hands.
What if you no longer struggled with your weight?
What if you lost the weight once and for all?
What if thoughts of food, dieting, weight loss and calories no longer filled your every thought?
What would you do if you had more energy?
How would your life change if you had more confidence and felt better in your body?
What might be possible for you, for your life, if you felt more grounded, balanced and calm?
Hi! I'm Amy Marzluff
I help busy, motivated, empowered women
get off the diet roller-coaster once and for all.
My mission is helping women feel and look great in their bodies
so they can live a life full of vitality, confidence and purpose.
Over the past decade, I have helped hundreds of women improve their eating habits, stop cravings and binges, feel better about their bodies, reach their ideal weight, experience increased life satisfaction and find their passion in life. You don’t do this by talking calories—it’s about building genuine relationships, creating a community of support and nourishing gradual, realistic change. To me, nothing is more gratifying than guiding a client through a complete physical and spiritual transformation—and knowing that she is equipped to be successful for the rest of her life!I realize that everyone’s journey is different. I am not here to judge or to present you with a manual of generic and unrealistic advice. Rather, I aim to empower you to reconnect with food and with your body, so that YOU have the tools and the confidence to be successful for the rest of your life. While I now have a healthy relationship to food and my body, it wasn’t always this way. When I was in high school and college, I had an eating disorder -- I was bulimic. The amount of shame, guilt, and judgement I had about myself was enough to keep me playing small, disconnected, zapped of joy and feeling like a fraud. It was holding me back from living my life! The turning point for me -- the road to real wellness happened in a yoga class. My now dear friend, Seane Corn was teaching about stepping into your greatness, into your power, and being of service to the world. She acknowledged that many of us were probably still in our “sh*t”, in our story, in our shame, blame and guilt. I’m thinking, “uhhh, yeah!”What she said next, rocked my world and changed the course of my life forever. She basically said, “Cut that sh*t out!” (Yes! She drops the f-bomb and other profanities in class in the most reverent way.)She said, “No matter what your story is, no matter what you are going through or have been through -- whether you are having an affair, going through a divorce, are addicted to drugs, binge eat, have an eating disorder, are an alcoholic, are a child of incest, betrayed someone, been betrayed, etc --it’s time to let it go. Clean ‘your stuff’ up. Get the help you need to heal. And then go use your light, your love and your experience to heal others who are experiencing what you’ve been through.” Holy Sh*t! In that moment, all my shame, guilt and judgement melted onto my yoga mat. I had an out! I could use my eating disorder to help others?! I didn’t have to hide this for the rest of my life? My entire body was a GIANT YES to this idea! So in that moment, by the Grace of God, my healing began! So now, I help my clients release their shame, guilt, blame and judgement about themselves, about their body and their habits so they can be their best, brightest, most empowered self. Am I perfect?! Oh my gosh, NO! I drink alcohol. I eat sugar. I splurge. I still have my moments of overeating, eating too much sugar, eating when I’m not hungry. But now instead of shaming myself, I use it as my guide -- my guide to get back on track.Health and wellness is about loving who you really are—and embracing the challenge to discover your best self. It is my honor and pleasure to do this for myself and to encourage and to coach my clients to do the same! The biggest thing being a health coach has taught me is that all the knowledge in the world is useless if you don’t know how to implement it. What I love about my job is that I’m not just collecting facts or telling people what to eat—I’m empowering my clients to realize their potential for a healthier lifestyle.
Are you curious about how health coaching can help you? Let’s talk.
For as long as I can remember, I have been passionate about health and nutrition. Anyone who knows me also knows that I am a sponge for the latest research in my field, whether it’s the benefits of a so-called superfood, or a strategy to help women combat sugar cravings.Ten years ago, I left a successful corporate job to pursue a career in health coaching. I attended the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City, where I was trained in more than 100 dietary theories and studied a variety of practical lifestyle coaching methods. I graduated in June 2007 and am certified by The American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP). I also received a continuing education certification in Integrative Nutrition from Teachers College, Columbia University.
I have further deepened my coaching skills by becoming a Certified Transformational Coaching Method Mastery-Level Coach. As a TCM Coach, I help you uncover deep-rooted beliefs that keep you stuck, frustrated and playing small. In a gentle way and in safe space, we reprogram you with positive, empowering beliefs that help you become the women you’ve always wanted to be -- physically, emotionally, and spiritually.I am also a certified as a Sacred Money Archetype Coach. “Why a money coach?” you may ask! I work from the belief that “how you do one thing is how you do everything.” How you do food is how you do money and how you do money is how you do food. It’s a cascade effect: when you start making positive changes in your finances, you start making positive changes with your health and vice versa! When you make changes in your health, you make changes in every area of your life! As a SMA Coach, I help you set clear, intentional goals around money...and in turn, your health. My education has equipped me with extensive, cutting-edge knowledge in holistic nutrition, health coaching, and prevention. Drawing on my expertise, I work with women like you to help make lifestyle changes and choose health-promoting ways that produce real and lasting results. You will develop a deeper understanding of food and lifestyle choices that work best for you, improving your energy, balance, health, and happiness. Each session will leave you feeling inspired and motivated. We will talk about things beyond food, seeking to bring balance to important elements of your life such as love and relationship as well as career and money. I will personally and carefully guide you to make simple, small changes that transform your life.
